Rodrock Homes builds distinctive homes in the most desirable locations, including the award-winning Blue Valley School District and acclaimed De Soto School District. Our premier family-friendly communities throughout Johnson County are amenities rich and convenient to the city’s best dining, shopping and entertainment options.
But the cornerstone of our success is built on a foundation of innovative, client-centric programs like the Custom Design Experience—a concierge solution to buying that ensures your home’s interior reflects your unique taste and enhances your family’s lifestyle.
Great design comes from capturing a client’s spirit and a space’s essence—and that’s why we make the Custom Design Experience available to each Rodrock Homes client at no charge.
How it Works
During construction, you’re assigned one of our acclaimed interior designers who can help you choose selections from granite, flooring and tile to paint colors and lighting fixtures and more. The designer, intimately familiar with each of Rodrock’s floor plans, will work to discover your personal style and vision and then schedule a meeting with you in our exclusive Design Center.
It’s entirely your decision on the level of design input you’d like; some homebuyers decide on selections before arriving at their initial Design Center meeting while others rely on the designer’s expertise to bring their dream home to reality.
Construction Stage
The number of interior selections ultimately depends on where your home is in the construction process—for example, a home near completion may require only a few items that need to be determined, like kitchen countertops or interior paint colors. However, if a home is purchased early in construction—or even before ground is broken—the professional designer’s knowledge may be the most beneficial in making choices.
Designer’s Eye
Regardless of how you choose to utilize our complimentary Custom Design Experience, the primary advantage of working in tandem with our professional designers is their overall knowledge. They have the distinct ability to view a floor plan and, based on your needs, offer suggestions to showcase your style, perhaps suggesting subtle adjustments to cabinets and trims and even tweaks to a room’s layout—resulting in a truly customized look for your home.
Your Home, Your Style
The Custom Design Experience allows you to see the entire picture—how the bathroom floor tile looks next to the rug chosen for the bedroom and how it all coordinate with the paint or how the granite countertop in the kitchen complements the backsplash.
It’s a seamless, one-stop shop experience, all under one roof. With the advice of a professional interior designer, the home you’ve just purchased will truly be your home.
